Since scriptwriter Khalil-ur -Rehman Qamar’s famed drama ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ has gained much praise by the audience, every actor who was once asked to feature in the drama is regretting the moment when they refused to take the role.

It was being said that popular star Mehwish Hayat was also asked to play the role of Mehwish, the lead female actor of the drama, which is now played by Ayeza Khan.

The chemistry of Danish [Humayun Saeed] and Mehwish [Ayeza Khan] touched everyone’s heart in the initial episodes when Danish showered all of his love on his wife. However, the drama took a new turn after a new entry of Shehwar [Adnan Siddiqui] who created differences between Danish and Mehwish and took Mehwish away from Danish.

Apart from Mehwish Hayat, Urwa Hocane was also approached by the drama director Nadeem Baig to play role of Hania, the school teacher of Danish’s son Roomi. However, due to her commitments with her ongoing movie Tich Button, she didn’t continue to do the drama and decided to focus on the movie instead.
