Ajay Devgn and Kajol would be much happy to see their movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is doing well at the box office soon after its release.
The movie, which is a period drama revolving around the Mughal dynasty, managed to make century at the box office during the first week and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. The film has earned Rs 107.68 crore till now and it’s still in the race.
According to renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the collections of Tanhaji on day 6 were Rs 16.72 crore, surpassing the film’s earnings on its first, fourth and fifth days and has managed to attract a steady stream of cinemagoers even on weekdays.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol-starer released alongside Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak. According to Adarsh, the movie has mass appeal and is popular across metros, multiplexes and single screens.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a historical drama which is based on the Maratha empire’s military leader Tanhaji Malusare. It is directed by filmmaker Om Raut. Sharad Kelkar is playing pivotal role in the movie along with Ajay, Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, and Neha Sharma.
