Salute: A film about Aitzaz Hasan to re-release in January

Pakistani school boy from Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Aitzaz Hasan Shaheed was martyred in January 2014 when he stopped a suicide bomber of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) who was doing an attempt to enter a school where over 2,000 students were present at that time.

The 16-year-old brave hero of this nation embraced martyrdom on January 6, 2014, but saved many lives with his sacrifice. His act of valor was honored by the whole country and he was also awarded the Civil Decorations of Pakistan.

The Pakistani nation pays tribute to this hero every year on his death anniversary. This year, a movie titled ‘Salute’ is going to be re-released in January in order to commemorate Aitzaz Hasan’s heroic act.

The movie, directed by Shehzad Rafique was first released in December 2016. The movie stars veteran actors Ajab Gul and Saima who played role of Aitzaz Hasan’s parents. The role of Aitzaz Hasan is played by a child artist Ali Mohtashem. Salute is distributed by IMGC Global Entertainment.

Aitzaz Hasan was honored with many awards after his martyrdom and he was hailed by the international peace organisations for such a brave act. May his soul rest in peace. The nation salutes this brave hero of Pakistani.
