Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have always been in the news for ups and downs in their friendship. Sometimes, the two Khans of Bollywood seem to have in a great bond, while sometimes they seem ignoring each other at public events. However, it is totally shocking news for fans that Salman and SRK had once agreed to collaborate for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial movie.
According to some reports by the Indian media, Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as King Khan of Bollywood and Salman Khan who is also known as Salman Bhai or Sallu Bhai, were all set to feature in a project by renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Some film pundits declared it as a rumour as both the Khans were already busy with their ongoing projects.
However, Dabangg 3 producer Nikhil Dwivedi confirmed this news in a recent interview saying, “yes, it almost happened. Both [Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan] agreed to come together and we were excited about it. But I believe Mr Bhansali wasn’t very happy with the second half of the script and wanted more time to work on it.”
Nikhil didn’t reveal any details about the movie. However, Bhansali had spoken about the untitled movie once. He said that the movie would be a family drama about friends-turned-foes.

“It would be based on the lines of legendary Dilip Kumar from his 1991 film Saudagar,” Bhansali said.
The project was supposed to start next year. But no one knows what happened or if the project is still on the cards. Let’s see if Mr. Bhansali announces anything about it in future.
Salman Khan is currently enjoying the success of Dabangg 3 which has recently released in the theatres across India. The third instalment of Dabangg franchise is directed by Prabhudheva and it is produced by Nikhil Dwivedi and Arbaaz Khan.
