Resham, known as the heart of Lollywood by her fans, still rules the hearts of Pakistani movies and drama lovers. That’s why she is still one of the highest paid Pakistani artists alongside Shaan Shahid, and Mahira Khan.
The evergreen actress of Pakistan film industry has starred in many films including Sangam (1997), Ghunghat (1996), Pal Do Pal (1999), Jannat Ki Talash (1999), Buddha Gujjar (2002) and many more. Resham made her debut with Syed Noor directorial 1995 movie Jeeva. The movie celebrated its Platinum Jubilee at Pakistani cinemas and was a mega-hit musical film. Other cast of the film included Nadeem Baig, Babar Ali, Neeli, Ghulam Mohiuddin, Mustafa Qureshi and Javed Sheikh.
Resham hasn’t worked since years and she stayed away from the film industry for a long time. Fans and followers thought that the actress got married secretly and left Pakistan. However, the artist denied rumours of getting married and said she would reveal when she would have any such plans. Seems the time has come!

The 51-year-old actress, who declared few years back that she was in no hurry to tie the knot, has finally revealed that she has found the man of her life and she will soon be tying the knot with a businessman from Europe. Some reports claim that Resham is set to marry next year (2020) in a private ceremony and she will settle abroad with her husband to be. We wish her a happy married life.
Resham has enjoyed much success in Lollywood, with multiple awards including The National Award for best actress for the 1997 movie Sangam in which she played lead role opposite to legendary actor Shaan Shahid. She also bagged Nigar Award for Best Actress for Jannat Ki Talash.
