The Pakistan Television (PTV) has confirmed that it will soon broadcast the Urdu dubbing of Turkish hit drama Diriliş Ertuğrul.
The national broadcaster made this conformation after there were rumors that the Urdu dubbed version of the world-famous Turkish drama was being shelved.
PTV, in a Twitter post along with a picture of the drama, said that the drama will soon hit the screens. According to the tweet by the broadcaster:
“Rumors of the project being shelved as appeared in a section of media are completely baseless and unfounded.”
Not only this, but the state broadcaster also wrote about the delay in broadcasting the drama and said:

“The delay so far has been due to trying to ensure quality voice-overs.”
“PTV wants to create a magic of voice on users with the voices of some best artists. That’s why PTV is still trying to put together a voice-over team for the dubbing. Soon afterward, the drama will broadcast on television and digital social media platforms,” it added.
Some media channels and social media users were expressing their concerns over the delay in airing the drama and it was being said that the Pakistan Television has shelved the drama and it won’t be broadcasting in the early days of 2020.
Radio host Diya Rahman, who had been part of the team to lend their voice for the drama, had shared that she was already part of the Diriliş: Ertuğrul voice cast and she was told that the drama would go live in January 2020. However, when news of the project being shelved emerged, she was the one that revealed that dubbing for the drama was put on hold.
She took to Twitter to share her pictures from PTV Headquarters. She wrote that the dubbing of Turkish drama is in process and the viewers would soon be able to watch it on PTV.
