Patari, the Pakistani music-streaming service faced trouble by the fans after it announced that it was taking renowned singer Mohsin Abbas Haider onboard the platform.
The music streaming platform shared a promotional video of Mohsin Abbas Haider’s upcoming track ‘Rooh’ on their online service. However, seems fans didn’t like it much because of the controversy the singer had been involved in past.
Many fans and subscribers of Patari posted negative comments under the post by the app and announced that it was the time to ‘mass delete’ the app.
Before moving forward to the comments and reactions by the fans, let us tell you why people didn’t like Patari collaborating with Mohsin Abbas.
The singer, actor, and songwriter was accused by his wife Fatima Sohail of beating her. Fatima called a press conference and made the photographs of her bruises and torture marks public. Following her press conference, the police lodged an FIR against the Na Maloom Afraad actor. Mohsin, however, denied the allegations and said that his wife was lying just to defame him.

The Lahore Family Court, in a bid to settle the dispute, accepted Fatima’s request for khula. Seems the move proved unfortunate for Mohsin as he lost his contract with a private news channel of a famous program ‘Mazaaq Raat’.
But it seems that the fans still have resentment against the singer and after the promotion of latest song Rooh, many uninstalled Patari app in reaction and the promotion of Mohsin Abbas Haider’s song prompted the Twitter users to comment against him. Here’s what they said:
“He is a wife beater! What’s wrong with u people? I thought u folks would have learned something after ur ceo’s episode,” a Twitter user wrote about the singer.
Another user also accused the singer of domestic violence and wrote: “@patarimusic, the company whose founder was accused of being a serial harasser, is releasing and promoting a song by yet another accused WIFE BEATER and CHEATER. I mean don’t they even get the optics of this?”
