Natalie Portman once bashed this Bollywood actor

Many Bollywood celebrities are fans of Hollywood actors and directors. From Quentin Tarantino to Steven Spielberg, from Leonardo DiCaprio to Natalie Portman, there is a huge fan following of Hollywood in Bollywood.

Unfortunately, many faces who are superstars in Bollywood are not well-known outside India. When they shoot in other countries, hardly much people know them. That’s why Bollywood movies are easy-to-shoot in other countries, especially in the United States and in countries of Europe.

One example of that is when Bollywood’s charming and one of the most handsome actors, Ranbir Kapoor wanted to meet Quentin Tarantino and Natalie Portman and wanted a picture with them. The Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani actor was shooting for Karan Johar directorial movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in London, when he came to know that his favorite filmmaker Tarantino is also shooting nearby.

“I was super excited when someone told me that he [Quentin Tarantino] is also shooting in the same building. We were shooting for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the basement whereas he was shooting for The Hateful Eight on some floor of the building. I heard that he was doing an interview so I went running up. I told Karan, ‘Listen, I have to meet him.’ Not that I’m going to say that I’m an actor from India. I just wanted to meet him, take a picture, an autograph,” Ranbir said.

But after waiting for almost an hour, Ranbir was still unable to take any picture with the Hollywood director as he didn’t recognize him and didn’t even wait for him.

“I saw him coming and from far I’m saying, “Quentin, Quentin.” He walks, looks at me, goes and sits in his car. When the door opens, I’m like, “Sir, picture picture?” and they have it on video. It was really funny and I got teased by the entire crew of Ae Dil, but just to see Quentin Tarantino,” the Sanju actor added.

That was not the only time Ranbir faced disappointed and heartbroken. He was also bashed by Natalie Portman while walking on the streets of New York.

“I was running when I saw her [Natalie] passing by me. She was on the phone and crying. I didn’t notice that. I turned towards her and tried to tell her that I love her acting and her movies. But I didn’t get a chance to complete my sentence and she yelled at me saying ‘get lost’.

Ranbir further added that though he felt heartbroken, but he would still chase her if he sees her again.
