Meray Paas Tum Ho has taken a new turn after Shahwar [Adnan Siddiqui] and Mehwish [Ayeza Khan]’s departure. It is now being said that only few episodes are remaining and it will soon come to an end.
Performances by the actors have been lauded by the fans and also the celebrities. Actors of the drama have witnessed growing fan following inside and outside of Pakistan. Even director of the drama, Khalil ur Rehman Qamar says that the drama resides in his heart too and he totally loves it.
In an interview, Qamar made some revelations about the drama and spoke about the performances. He says:
“Meray Paas Tum Ho is nearing its end, but it’s not really nearing its end, it is here to stay in everyone’s hearts. It resides in my heart too.
I have seen men who have been injured, whose hearts have been broken, I have seen them in excruciating pain. I have seen men who are of about 40-50 years old, behave like 15-16 year old girls when they are being betrayed. They see everything but still hope for it to be not true! I have never pitied anyone, but I do pity men who have been destroyed by women,” he said.
Talking about the performances by the actors, he said:
“I am happy from the performance of all the actors. Perhaps, God wanted it to be this way and hence we were able to create it this way. When I wrote this serial, I said this isn’t just a drama, it is in fact a novel which all girls should read once. A novel that should be read and taken caution from time and again!”
The Pyaray Afzal writer also made a shocking revelation about child star Roomi’s character. He said that ‘Roomi essayed his own childhood’.
Shees was truly a gift! He was a blessing for us. I was worried that a child might lose his innocence delivering such dialogues however he spoke everything that an adult says with the innocence of a child! He is such a fine actor!
I wrote the character of Roomi with an actor in mind. And that actor was Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. That kid is actually playing the role of Khalil ur Rehman Qamar. I am disclosing this today. He is essaying my childhood. I was a kid who used to say such big things that it used to shock people around me.”
