Hira Mani, who won hearts with her great performance as Gaiti in Do Bol and Hania in Meray Paas Tum Ho, is all set to appear in a new, unique and out-of-the-box role in her upcoming play Kashf. The actress will essay the main protagonist in the play, a woman with a nightmare disorder. She will be featuring in the drama opposite to Junaid Khan.
Hira recently appeared on a TV show where she spoke about her character in the drama serial. Here’s what she said:
“Kashf is scared of going to sleep as that takes her into a harrowing world of dreams that she dreads seeing, as they come true. Hence, she tries to keep herself awake by inflicting pain on herself. In her dream, she also foresees what is going to happen to her loved ones.”
“Junaid [Khan] will essay Kashf’s love interest Wajdaan in the play. He’s madly in love with Kashf but she tries to ignore him at first and doesn’t want him to come close to her. However, Wajdaan keeps chasing Kashf and tells her about his feelings. He keeps trying on her and finally succeeds in convincing her. The story continues with their love relationship” she added.
In an interview, the male lead of the drama, Junaid Khan also talked about his character, Wajdaan, saying:
“I am essaying the character of Wajdaan, who is madly in love with Kashf. The intensity of his love is so strong that he is willing to face any difficult situation that comes his way.”
“When you watch the drama, you will get to know that Kashf is bound by some rules and hence she is hesitant to invest in this relationship. But Wajdaan is willing to go to any extent to win her heart,” the actor added.
The upcoming drama of the duo is directed by Danish Nawaz.
