Fans hardly see Hamza Ali Abbasi anywhere these days. The Pyarey Afzal actor, in a video message on a social networking site, said that he was thinking about quitting the film and drama industry of Pakistan for a long time. Last month, Hamza announced that he will be making an important announcement at the end of the month.
“This [decision] is based on 10 years of research and during this time, I have worked on correcting myself which itself was a struggle,” Hamza said.
However, the actor said that he will continue making content that would not be unethical or bold in any way. Fans and followers still see him on Twitter and other social media platforms, sharing some information or having a session with his admirers. Recently, Hamza Ali Abbasi took to Twitter to show support for famous designer Maria B. and her husband who was arrested for allegedly forcing his cook, who was affected with COVID-19 to leave the house and go to hometown.
Soon after his arrest, Maria B. shared a video of her clarifying and telling what actually happened. She said that they didn’t force their cook to leave for hometown, they asked him to self-isolate himself. She also demanded immediate release of her husband. Those who saw her video message came to support her. Hamza was one of them. He took a jibe at the authorities for misbehaving with Maria’s husband and also slammed media for creating chaos.
“Absolutely disgusted by the behavior of authorities and media who in this time of crisis are creating chaos and making false accusations,” he said.
The Legend of Maula Jatt actor further added that Maria B. and her husband are good and sophisticated people who have been wronged, and shared the video where the designer and her husband are clarifying what all went down between them and their cook.
