Former Pakistani actor, model and film actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has been away from the television screen since he announced that he was leaving the showbiz industry to preach Islam.
The Pyaray Afzal actor took to his official Twitter handle last month and posted a video where he was seen making the announcement to bid adieu to the Pakistani drama and film industry. The actor also explained the reasons for quitting the industry and said that he wanted to join the path that leads to Allah.
Hamza has since disappeared completely from the screen as well as from social media. He did not post anything about his engagements and about his personal life. He has been inactive on all of his social accounts including Twitter.
Recently, Hamza took to Twitter just to comment about the court verdict against former army chief of Pakistan, General (Retired) Pervez Musharraf in the high treason case.
When fans and followers found his post, they tried to approach him and ask him about his life after showbiz. One fan asked the actor as to why he was so inactive on Twitter these days. Hamza replied him that he was busy in studying Islam and making some important YouTube videos.

However, the actor didn’t tell anything more about the kind of ‘important videos’ he was making.
The former actor had announced that he would be working on the projects that would only be based o religious beliefs and do not contain any content related to showbiz. His last project was Hum TV’s drama serial ‘Alif’.
Hamza Ali Abbasi gained prominence with his role of Afzal in the drama serial Pyaray Afzal. His other dramas that earned him fame include Mann Mayal and Meray Dard Ko Jo Zuban Miley.
