A petition filed against Nadeem Baig’s Meray Paas Tum Ho has been dismissed by Lahore court.
According to details, a woman filed a petition against the top-rated drama written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar. The woman named Maham claimed that the drama disrespects women and shows that women are bad to men that is not true.
Civil Court Lahore’s judge issued summons to the team of Meray Paas Tum Ho. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the judge of the court dismissed the petition and issued verdict in favor of the drama.

The megahit drama serial has gained worldwide publicity after creating a buzz nationwide. Being a top-rated drama, Meray Paas Tum Ho earned prominence among the drama lovers and now it is nearing end. The last episode of the drama is expected to be aired in the cinemas on January 25.
However, seems some of the audience is not happy with the plot of the drama that portrays evil side of women and they don’t want the producers, directors and channel to show the last episode. A woman, who doesn’t seem in much favor of the drama, has filed a petition in Lahore’s civil court to prevent the show from airing its last episode.
In her petition, she told the court that the drama has a negative impact and is continuing to downgrade the status of women in Pakistani society.
MPTH features Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan, Adnan Siddiqui, Hira Mani in pivotal roles. The writer of the drama is Khalil ur Rehman Qamar who also penned famous drama Pyarey Afzal that featured Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ayeza Khan in lead roles. MPTH is directed by Nadeem Baig.
