Coke Studio Season 12, that started on October 11 with the famous Hamd ‘Wohi Khuda Hai’ in renowned singer Atif Aslam’s voice has ended with Quratulain Balouch’s track.
The season 12 of the music platform comprised of six episodes. Like always, the Coke Studio made a great choice artists and the fans showered their love on each track of the latest season.
Quratulain Balouch teamed up with another fabulous singer Ali Sethi in the grand finale of the season and rocked the stage with Mundiya, the 1980s track from film Mukhra, originally sung by melody queen Noor Jehan.
Among 16 mesmerising songs of this season were Atif Aslam’s Aaye Kuch Abr, the rocking performance on Dhola by Sahir Ali Bagga and Aima Baig, Bo Giyam, the song that is a fusion of Burushaski and Urdu sung by newcomer Kashif Din, along with vocalist Nimra Rafiq, Tiri Pawanda by classically trained trio of sisters, Harsakhiyan.

The trio is a great combination of voice and the soulful melody and in this season, they gave their vocals to poetry of Sindhi poet Shaikh Ayaz.
Unfortunately, the great singer Sanam Marvi might have felt sad as her song Hairaan Hua was removed by the music channel because of a copyright claim by the original singer, Abida Parveen,
Similarly, the latest version of Billo by Abrar-ul-Haq was also taken off of YouTube over a claim by Karman Entertainment Limited.
