Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge ruled hearts of millions of Bollywood movies’ fans for decades. The movie, which was released some 2 decades ago, was liked by the audience from around the globe. Not only in India, seems the iconic movie made its place in other countries too.
DDLJ featured superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles. Fans also loved the chemistry of SRK and Kajol in the movie and demanded to see more movies of the duo. Both the actors earned prominence from this cult classic film.
Recently, US President Donald Trump visited India with his family and addressed a gathering in Ahmadabad city of Gujarat state. In his address, he mentioned two movies, Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay and the other one was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
“All over the planet people take great joy in watching Bollywood films, bhangra, and classic films like DDLJ and Sholay. You cheer on great cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli,” the US President said in his speech.
Seems Trump prepared for the speech and wanted to get applauded by the people of India.
However, it’s not the US President who knows about DDLJ and Shah Rukh Khan, Hollywood actors are also in the list of SRK fans. And the new addition is our very own Chris Hemsworth.
Chris, who is widely famous for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, repeated Shah Rukh Khan’s famous dialogue from the movie, “Bade bade desho mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai”.
A fan shared a video on social media in which the Thor: Ragnarok actor was seen mouthing the popular dialogue, and it is simply adorable to watch him doing that.
Aditya Chopra directorial Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was one of the most popular and loved films we have in Bollywood. Even after 25 years of its release, the film, its songs and dialogues remain fresh in the memories of its fans.
