Our own multi-talented singer and actor Ali Zafar has always been loved by the people in Pakistan and in the rest of the world. He’s one of the finest singers who has performed around the world and made millions of fans.
However, there comes a phase that changes your life completely. And according to Ali Zafar, that phase was when another Pakistani singer and his friend Meesha Shafi levelled allegations of harassment against him.
During a conversation, the singer spoke his heart out about the events that occurred in his life after one tweet against him that was posted by Meesha Shafi.

“That [tweet] completely changed my life. Yes, I realised how it becomes difficult for a man to prove himself innocent when a girl has blamed him for harassing her,” Ali said.
He went on to add that he never expected Meesha would do that to him as they were once very good friends.
“She meant alot to me. I always respected her, never said any disrespectful words to her. I don’t know why she did this to me. It’s totally unexpected,” Ali Zafar added.
Criticism by fans and followers was extreme
The actor said that he faced severe criticism after that and his own fans posted against him on social media that made him think that he should defend himself rather than sitting and watching his character assassination.
“I was crying, I literally cried after everyone held me responsible and believed whatever Meesha said. Then I decided to fight a legal battle if I want to earn my respect back. However, before I would do anything, Meesha filed a case against me and sent me defamation notice. That was the time when my wife held my hand and said let’s face this together,” Ali said.
The artist then advised his fans that they should think a hundred times before posting anything on social media so that their words would not hurt anyone.
“You should have proper evidence before leveling allegations against anyone. Your words could destroy the image of someone,” Ali Zafar said.
